My primary objective at KerrieLouise Ceremonies is to provide exceptionally professional, remarkable, and unforgettable ceremonies for all my couples. To ensure clarity and mutual understanding of expectations, the following terms and conditions are established as part of my service, aimed at protecting the interests of my couples.

The initial consultation will be conducted in a format selected by the clients, whether face-to-face, virtual, or through telephone or email.It's important to note that wedding ceremonies conducted by

KerrieLouise Ceremonies are not legally binding; it remains your responsibility if you desire to formalise your marriage as a legally recognised marriage. The booking fee, which is deducted from the final balance, is non-refundable. Full payment must be made with cleared funds at least 30 days before the ceremony date. In the event of cancellation, KerrieLouise Ceremonies reserves the right to retain any payments received. However, any refunds are at Kerrie Hardman’s discretion.

As the client, you agree to pay a non-refundable booking fee of £200 and the remaining balance at least 30 days before the wedding day. Once the booking fee has been paid, KerrieLouise Ceremonies will send written confirmation of the wedding ceremony.

If the ceremony date needs to be rescheduled, KerrieLouise Ceremonies will make every effort to reach a mutually agreeable alternative date.In the rare event that Kerrie Hardman is unable to attend the ceremony due to exceptional circumstances, she will personally arrange for another qualified and respected celebrant to conduct the ceremony, ensuring that all your requirements are seamlessly communicated.

The initial draft of the script will be completed within six weeks of receiving the questionnaire. Subsequently, the second draft will be prepared within two weeks of receiving your amendments.

The script is copyrighted to KerrieLouise Ceremonies until the day of the ceremony, at which point it will be handed over to the couple and will not be used in any future scriptwriting activities.

Creating the ideal wedding ceremony necessitates completing the Wedding Ceremony Questionnaire, alongside a meeting and communication through various channels. Timely responses to requests for information are crucial.

KerrieLouise Ceremonies reserves the right to retain any material used in a ceremony script for use as an example script for other clients; however, it will not be duplicated as your wedding ceremony is unique.

To ensure the seamless delivery of the wedding ceremony, it is expected that the final version of the ceremony be approved by the client no later than one month prior to the wedding. You agree to communicate any last-minute changes to the ceremony details, such as music, vows, or participants, with at least one week's reasonable notice before the scheduled ceremony date.

KerrieLouise Ceremonies accepts no liability for accidents or injuries that occur during ceremonies. Clients are responsible for obtaining approval from the venue for unity candle rituals.

Travel costs are incurred at a rate of 0.50 per mile for journeys exceeding the initial 30 miles, which are free.

Clients are required to complete the GDPR consent form to enable KerrieLouise Ceremonies to collect, process, and store personal data for communication purposes, in accordance with UK GDPR legislation.

KerrieLouise Ceremonies consents to the sharing of photos in which Kerrie appears on social media.

Couples also agree to share ceremony images for promotional purposes, provided that full written permission is obtained from the photographer or image owner.

Any objections regarding the use of images should be communicated in writing to KerrieLouise Ceremonies, who will honour such requests.

Please carefully review, sign, and return a copy of your contract, retaining one for your records, as failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of services.

 We confirm that we understand that for our marriage to be recognised in law, a separate service within a registry office or approved venue in front of a registrar is required.

What information do I collect?

Kerrie louise will treat your data with respect and it will not be actively shared with third parties unless consent is given by the couple.
I may collect the following personal information that you provide me with:

• Details of your ceremony and chosen venue.

Please remember that whilst I may not directly ask you for some of these details you may indirectly disclose them to me, for example:
• If you request a same sex ceremony, this will indicate your sexuality.
• If you request a certain theme, this may indicate your race/culture.

You may choose to make such requests in person rather than online if you prefer. You can withdraw your consent to use your personal data.

 

Kerrie Louise Ceremonies operates an “opt-in” approach for data usage and storage. By submitting your details or using the website and associated links or forms, you are opting in to data collection and usage. (This is known as ‘implied consent.’) On appointment of my services, you will also be asked to sign an opt-in data collection form. You may at any time opt out by making a formal request to me via my email address. Please ensure you receive written confirmation that your “opt out” request has been acknowledged. In this circumstance I will no longer use specific information you have provided from this point on. However, you need to be informed that any published and public materials that already includes your information or photos cannot be recalled.

 How do I store and destroy the data that I collect?
All personal and sensitive information divulged to me will remain confidential.
Paper files will be kept locked at my home address and destroyed after use via shredding. Contact forms, questionnaires and wedding scripts will be held electronically for one month post-event to allow you to access them; documents can be destroyed earlier than one month on the written request of the couple. I will only retain emails from you that relate to the current enquiry; they will be deleted when they are no longer relevant. Electronic files on my devices will be firewalled and password protected.

Please note that email or message correspondence to Kerrie Louise does not offer any additional encryption other than what is provided as standard from both the email servers and website. I, Kerrie Louise, am not affiliated with either of these companies other than as a user of their services and cannot be held liable for any breaches of GDPR regulations made on their part.

 

Why is this information collected?
This information is collected for the following purposes:

How do sites store, use, share and disclose site visitors' personal information?

All web pages are hosted on platforms, which allow me to advertise my services to you. Your data may be stored through the host platforms data storage, databases and the general applications. How is communication initiated?
If I need to contact you, it will be through the details you actively provide to me. For example, via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail. Do Not submit any forms of contact that you do not wish to be utilised.

Access to your Data.

You can request a copy of the information which I hold about you, this is known as a ‘subject access request.’ You may nominate others to access your data via a sharing agreement in writing which must be clearly signed where practical by both members of the Couple. As a minimum the sharing agreement must be signed by at least one member of the Couple.

Right to correct any mistakes or changes about your information.
You can request via email that I correct any mistakes or changes about your information. If you would like to do this, please let me know the information that has changed or is incorrect and what it should be replaced with.

Privacy Statement Updates.
I reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If I make material changes to this statement, I will notify you here of the date that it has been updated. If any changes are made to the privacy statement, your right to “opt out” or “withdraw consent” for data use remains the same.
