#Wedding business club live

Wow, what a fantastic event! I want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to Faye and everyone at The Wedding Business Club for putting together such an inspiring day. From beginning to end, it was full of positive energy, creativity, and the most wonderful people from all parts of the wedding industry.

Listening to the fantastic speakers left me feeling energised and thoughtful. It’s always so refreshing to hear new ideas, learn from others’ experiences, and remember that even in a creative field like ours, there’s always something new to explore.

We heard directly from Faye; it was her suggestion that I write a weekly wedding blog, so you have her to thank for our regular updates!

The networking was just as special—reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new friends who share the same passion for creating beautiful, unforgettable celebrations. There’s something truly empowering about being in a room with people who really understand the dedication, love, and hard work that go into every wedding we’re privileged to be part of. Working as a sole trader can be lonely at times, sat at my computer with just Daphne (my whippet) for company, so it was lovely to share ideas and have a moan with other colleagues.

Events like this remind us that learning never truly ends. Whether it’s a new trend, a helpful business tip, or a small shift in mindset, taking time to grow and connect makes a significant difference in how we serve our couples and nurture our businesses. We discussed delegation, maximising our skills, and recognising limitations. Social media is not my strength, so I have taken a huge step by outsourcing it, and now I have a social media manager… so watch this space!

Here’s to ongoing learning, collaboration, and community- and a big thank you to Faye for bringing us all together so wonderfully. I left feeling inspired, supported, and excited with fresh ideas for what's ahead and how I can make your wedding just a little bit more special.

Until next time! 💕
